Windows, macOS and Linux: connect this machine

One file of plain Node. No Docker, nothing to clone, nothing to build. Node 18 or newer is the only requirement. Pair a device in Settings and Venta hands you the exact command for your platform, already filled in.

It is ~200 lines and imports only Node built-ins. Read it before you run it.

Desktop app

A native window with a tray icon and background alerts. Windows only for now. The macOS and Linux builds are not signed and published yet.

Venta for Chrome

From any page: ask Venta about it, with the page attached to the chat; save it to Venta Cloud as a note; or study its layout as an original page in the Sandbox. Nothing about a page leaves your browser until you press a button.

Phone and tablet

Venta installs as an app from the browser. On Android, tap Install when Venta offers it. On iPhone, use Safari's Share menu, then Add to Home Screen.

Say it out loud

The desktop app listens from the tray for “Hey Venta” once you turn that on. Say what you need; Venta opens the chat, does it, and reads the answer back. A small “Venta is listening” pill sits in the corner whenever the microphone is on, with a button to stop.

Where the limits are

You set a ceiling for what Venta may do on its own, and lower ceilings for particular tools. Purchases, deletions and messages to people ask first unless you have allowed that kind of action, and a yes you give lapses on its own. Each command it runs is shown in the conversation as it happens.

Venta reaches this PC only while the app is running. Quit it, and nothing more happens here until you start it again.
