Privacy policy

Last updated: October 10, 2026

This policy says what Venta keeps about you, why, who else sees it, how long it stays, and how to take it with you or delete it. It covers venta.tools, the Venta app and the Venta browser extension.

1. Information we collect

Venta keeps as little as it can. Messages you send are answered either by a model included with your plan or by an AI account you connected yourself, and what we store is listed here in full:

Account: Your name, email address and profile picture from the account you sign in with.

Conversations: The chats you keep, saved to your account and encrypted with a key belonging to it, until you delete them.

Your own AI accounts: If you connect one, we save the key and endpoint to your account, encrypted with a key derived for your account, so they work on every device you sign in on; signed out, they stay in your browser only. We use them only to reach that provider for the requests you make, return them only to your own signed-in session, and delete them when you remove them or delete your account. If you choose a key for background work, we also use that one key for the work you set up, until you remove it. Your keys are never used for anyone else's requests.

Memory: Facts and preferences Venta noted from your chats and its work, each with where it came from and when, so it does not have to ask again. Card numbers, keys and passwords are taken out before anything is kept. You can read, correct, export or delete every memory in the Memory window, and turn memory off for a project.

Tasks Venta does for you: The plan, each step taken, what was checked and the result, so you can see what was done and pick it up again. Each act with an effect outside Venta, such as an email sent or a file changed, is recorded with up to 2,000 characters of what the tool answered, so it is never done twice by mistake.

Screenshots and pictures: Screenshots taken while Venta works in a browser, and pictures you give it for a task, are kept with that task: at most 24 per task, deleted 30 days after the task ends and never kept longer than 90 days. You can delete any of them sooner.

What you set up: Saved procedures, helpers, schedules, triggers and workflows you create, and the model you chose for each kind of step.

Permissions: The rules you set for what Venta may do, the temporary permissions you give it with their limits and how often they were used, and a record of the ones you revoked.

Linked computers: For each computer you link, its name, system, what you allow it to do and when it was last seen. Its credential is stored only as a one-way hash.

Failure records (only if you turn them on): With “Share failure records to help fix Venta” switched on in Settings, a task that fails or gets stuck leaves a short record: the kind of failure, the step it happened at and the tools involved, with emails, phone numbers, addresses, keys and account numbers taken out. It is linked to your account so it can be deleted with it. The Venta team reads these records to fix failures that repeat. Turning the setting off deletes them.

Connected account data (live reads): Deployment, team, device, and model statistics shown in your dashboard are live pass-through reads from your connected accounts. They are fetched on demand and displayed, never written to or cached in our database, and the read stops the instant you revoke the connection.

Usage information: Technical logs and usage counts that keep the service running and within your plan's limits.

2. How we use your information

We use what we keep only to do what you ask:

  • Run your account and remember your settings.
  • Send your requests to the AI that answers them, using your own key when you have connected one.
  • Do the tasks you ask for, with the tools and permissions you allow.
  • Find and fix what breaks, and keep the service fast.
  • Training: Off unless you turn it on. Venta never uses your API keys, and never uses the replies your AI provider wrote, for training of any kind. Your own requests are used only if you switch on “Help train Venta's own models” in Settings, which is off by default; with it on they may be copied into a reviewed dataset, after personal details are removed, to train Venta's own small models. Turn it off and nothing further is collected.

3. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal data. Information is shared only as follows:

  • Model providers: Your prompts are sent to the AI that answers them: the model Venta includes, which runs on Anthropic's or Groq's service, or a provider whose account you have connected. Your relationship with a provider you connect is governed by its own privacy policy.
  • Image generation: When you ask for a picture, the description you give is sent to Pollinations.ai and, if it is busy, to Stable Horde, a volunteer network whose machines run openly licensed image models. Pictures made there may carry the usage terms of the model that made them.
  • Services you connect: Accounts you link, such as Gmail, Outlook or another mailbox in Venta Mail, are read or written to only when you ask. Their own privacy policies apply to what is held there.
  • Hosting: The companies that host Venta, its database, file storage and email delivery, only so the service can run.
  • Legal compliance: If required by applicable law, regulation, or legal process.

4. How long we keep it

  • Conversations, memories, tasks, what you set up and your settings stay until you delete them or your account.
  • Screenshots and pictures kept with a task are deleted 30 days after it ends, and after 90 days at most.
  • Failure records are deleted the moment you turn them off.
  • Deleting your account deletes all of it.

5. Keeping it safe

Conversations and AI keys are encrypted with a key that belongs to your account. Every request is checked against the account that made it, so one account cannot read another's data. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot promise that nothing will ever go wrong.

6. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can:

  • Download everything we keep for your account as one file, from Settings, Security, Your data.
  • Read, correct or delete any memory, conversation, task or setting, one at a time or all at once.
  • Delete your account and everything kept with it, from Settings.
  • Turn memory, training and failure records off at any time.

For anything else, send us a note from Feedback in the Venta menu.
