Install Venta for Windows, and the assistant you talk to in the browser can work on this PC: read the folders you choose, run what you approve, and listen for “Hey Venta”.

Say it out loud
The desktop app listens from the tray for “Hey Venta” once you turn that on. Say what you need; Venta opens the chat, does it, and reads the answer back. A small “Venta is listening” pill sits in the corner whenever the microphone is on, with a button to stop.
Where the limits are
You set a ceiling for what Venta may do on its own, and lower ceilings for particular tools. Purchases and deletions ask first unless you have allowed that kind of action, and a yes you give lapses on its own. Each command it runs is shown in the conversation as it happens.
Venta reaches this PC only while the app is running. Quit it, and nothing more happens here until you start it again.
Mac or Linux
On macOS and Linux a one-file agent links the computer instead of the app; the rest works the same way.
Which AI answers
Every paid plan includes an AI model. If you already pay OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI or Cerebras, you can connect that account instead and Venta routes your work through it.
What it costs
Free to try with 10 messages a month and no card. Paid plans start at $9 a month and include an AI allowance; connecting your own provider account does not use it.

- Is it an app or a website?
- Both. You talk to Venta in the browser; the Windows app is what lets it work on this PC. On a phone, Venta installs to the home screen from the browser.
- Does the app need to stay open?
- It runs from the tray, and yes: Venta reaches the PC only while it is running.
- Can it use my own AI account?
- Yes. Connect your OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI or Cerebras account and Venta routes your work through it; you pay your provider their price, and Venta adds nothing to it.
- Does work continue when I close the tab?
- A task keeps its place when you close the tab. Venta's worker picks it up on its next run — today that can be up to a day — and a task that needs your own computer waits for that computer to be online.
