Hand over a whole task, not one question.
Describe the outcome you want. Venta shows a plan, waits for your yes, then carries it out with its tools, checking each step and stopping for anything you need to decide.
For work that takes several steps across the web, your files and your computer, which you would otherwise do one prompt at a time.
- Multi-step tasks
- Available on: Every plan, the free one includedWorks on: Any browser, Phones, and Windows
What it does
- Shows the plan for a long task and waits for your yes, or your changes, before starting.
- Runs each step with a tool, and checks the result before going on.
- Lets you change what Venta will do on the approval card, then approve that.
- Can be paused and resumed, and a finished run can be replayed from its record.
How it works
The task runtime turns your request into steps and runs each with a tool: a search, a file, a command on a linked computer. A step that sends, buys, deletes or publishes stops and asks you.
A task keeps its place when you close the tab. Venta's worker picks it up on its next run — today that can be up to a day — and a task that needs your own computer waits for that computer to be online.
Example prompts
- Find every invoice from last quarter on my laptop, total them by client, and save the table to Venta Cloud.
- Research three accounting tools for a small shop and draft a one-page comparison.
- Clean up my Downloads folder: sort it by type, and ask before deleting anything.
Limitations
- A long task can take minutes, and uses more model calls than a single answer.
- A step can go wrong; the record shows what happened, so you can correct it.
- A step that needs your computer waits until it is online.
Questions people ask first
- Does work continue when I close the tab?
- A task keeps its place when you close the tab. Venta's worker picks it up on its next run — today that can be up to a day — and a task that needs your own computer waits for that computer to be online.
- Can I stop a task part-way?
- Yes. Pause it and resume later, or cancel it.
- How is this different from a chat reply?
- A reply answers once. A task keeps a plan, takes several actions and checks each one, and stays in Tasks so you can follow and replay it.
